Master Materials - The Obscura Experiment

Hello everyone!

I'm more than happy to show you all some of my work in our upcoming game, The Obscura Experiment! As a technical artist, I was tasked with optimising the game as much as possible. One way I've been lowering resources costs for our game is by optimising the material workflow and reducing the amount of times textures are sampled by the engine!

This project took me around a week to research and put together the core elements of the master material like Normal Packing and texture array, but we've been adding new functionalities over the production such as custom primitive data usage by our light blueprints or channel overrides.
